What's On My Face #3 | Naked 3 Palette

My first 'whats on my face' featuring my new Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! To read my thoughts on the palette you can read my whole review here.

I started off by using my GOSH Velvet Touch Primer, which helps keep my makeup in place all day, and also helps to give a beautiful finish to my skin. I am wearing my Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, which has a gorgeous luminous sparkle underneath, making my skin look radiant and fresh. I applied this using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, which makes foundation application super easy, and makes a long lasting & even finish. To even out the purple under my eyes, I used my favourite ever Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer with my ring finger, and the on top of that and any blemishes I used my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, which is amazing for blemishes and under the eyes.

Brows & Eyes
On my brows I simply ran through an MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 19 which is a matte brown shade with my Real Techniques Brow Brush. Then on to the more exciting stuff, my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! To start with, I took the shade Nooner on my Mac 217 Brush and ran it through my crease to create a bit of definition. Then with my Body Shop Eyeshadow Brush, I took Buzz up to the crease and on the outer half of my lid. With my Mac 219 Brush I put Strange in the inner corner, and as a brow high light, and then blended it all together with my C200 Deluxe Crease Brush from Crown Brush! I then lined my lashes with my L'Oreal Perfect Slim Superliner in Black Intense, and finished of with a lick of my favourite Max Factor False Lash Effect.

On to the cheeks, I powered using my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001 Transparent, to set everything in place, with my Body Shop Face & Body Brush. Then, with my Real Techniques Blush Brush, I used the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing Powder to give my face a bit of colour, and also a Cream Blush from Bourjois in 02 with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush.

To moisturise I used my Lush Lip Service Lip Balm, and on top of that I used an MUA Lipstick in the shade Juicy.

If you actually got to the end of this post then thank you! I know there was a lot of writing... maybe this would be better in a video, what do you think? ;-)

What to Get Him for Valentines Day | Gift Guide

So if I'm honest, I got a bit stuck on the 'him' version of this gift guide, so I enrolled the help of my boyfriend Toby, who gave me a heads up on what he's like to receive... if we did presents. Of course.

1. So the first thing Toby said was music. It could be a CD or your own mixtape, but just to be safe, why not just get an iTunes gift card - then you're giving the gift of music without actually choosing it. And you can choose how much it costs, £15, £25 or even £50!

2. Toby's go to hair wax is the Aveda Control Paste, it's a non sticky paste that gives hair a bit of volume and texture. And at only £20 it's a really good buy!

3. Again, a slightly more expensive option would be his favourite aftershave - Toby's favourite scent is the traditional Hollister scent, really sweet, and on the cheaper side of Cologne at only £49.

4. Last but not least you could get some nice skin care bits, Toby suggested this Bull Dog Shaving Gel, cheap but apparently a great product. The Body Shop is also great for male skin care, or you could even try Lush!

I hope you all have an amazing Valentines Day, whether you're spending it with your special someone or going out with friends!

What to Get Her for Valentines Day | Gift Guide

This will be mine and Toby's third Valentines Day together. In the grand scheme of things, I guess it isn't that long but the time has flown by so quickly. We don't really go all out with presents; a nice meal or bunch of flowers which suits us down to the ground, but if we did do presents, these four items would definitely be on my list!

1. For a small, inexpensive present that most girls appreciate, I would head straight to Lush, with the Prince Charming Shower Gel on the top of my list. Cheap and sweet, this would make any girl happy.

2. If you're wanting to spend a bit more, perfume, however slightly cliche, will always be a safe bet. ChloƩ is one of those classic scents, and definitely one I would be asking begging for.

3. Again for an inexpensive girly present, why not opt for a bit of Cath Kidston? I've never met a girl who didn't love those classic prints, and didn't want them all over her purse/bag/teacups...

4. Last but not least, I state the obvious. Lipstick. Mac lipstick. My chosen shade? Creme Cup - however if you're more the romantic, why not Russian Red or Ruby Woo?

What to get him for Valentines Day will be up tomorrow, I might employ Toby to help me with that one...

Rimmel Five Pan Eyeshadows | Brixton Brown Review

Rimmel Five Pan Eyeshadow in Brixton Brown
Have your noticed a bit of a trend recently? I don't know why, but I haven't been able to stop myself buying eyeshadows! Hence all the palette reviews....

For £7, I thought this little eyeshadow palette from Rimmel was quite the bargain! For five shades in gorgeous dark colours, in compact little packaging, this made for a lovely addition to my makeup collection.

The colour in the centre is a lovely dark plummy red, similar to Cranberry from Mac, a highly pigmented shade with a gorgeous level of shimmer. The darkest brown shade is in the top left hand corner. It's a matte shade, which is lovely for a crease colour, or to define under the eyes or the outer corner.  In the right hand corner, theres a beautiful gold highlight, with peach undertones, perfect for the inner corners, or under the brow as a highlight. The bottom two shades are again matte, a lighter brown and a darker gold. The darker gold was slightly disappointing, as it wasn't very pigmented, but still very lovely for all over the lid on a 'neutral day'.

All in all, this is a bargain buy, and a beautiful addition my eyeshadow collection.

Right, I'm off for a hot date with Netflix tonight, I can't wait until I'm all healed up & can start taking outfit posts again!

'Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking' | OOTD

So sad to say this will probably be my last fashion post for the foreseeable future. Unless you guys are interested in seeing my sexy NHS sandals and crutches? Look out for many wish-lists though, even if I can't properly wear the clothes, I can still think about them, right? I have spent this afternoon watching The Devil Wears Prada, which is one of my favourite films of all time - hence the title today! Please continue to leave your blog links down below or on twitter (@LittleRoseRozzi) because I've got lots of spare time on my hands!

Skirt: Primark | Csmi Top: Topshop | Blazer: Primark | Shoes: Next
Okay, so I know it's not quite spring, however I can definitely pretend! I love the way this top compliments this skirt - the colours go so nicely together! I absolutely fell in love with this skirt when I saw it in Primark, I just don't think it looks as cheap as it is! It cost me £12, which was cheaper than the top! I know that this is more of a spring outfit, but I am seriously excited for the seasons to change, so yes, I'm dressing for it - even though I wore this with a big coat when I actually left the house... but the thought was there.

My Instagram Prints | Polargram

Polargram Instagram Prints
I always think having actual prints of photos is such a lovely thing to have. As amazing and easy as I think virtual photos are, I do miss flicking through a photo album or having actual photos to put up on the wall. A really great alternative to this is a Polaroid camera, (something I have lusted over for years!) but I just cannot justify spending money on it, especially as I know I won't take it 'out and about' with me as much as I will initially intend to, and therefore won't capture all the moments I want to treasure. Enter: Polargram!

For seriously easy peasy and inexpensive photo printing, I would highly recommend Polargram. At first, I only wandered on to their website to have a nosy - thinking that to have pictures printed would cost a bomb. 'Nuh-uh' ladies and gentlemen.

When you enter the site, it gives you the option to sign in, and gather your photos from Instagram, (a good way to do it as it removes any sizing issues). Simple really, they're all laid out there in front of you, and you click on the ones you'd like printed!

Pricing works like this; you can either choose 12, 24 or 48 prints, and thats £5, £7 or £10. And that includes delivery. And a Drumstick sweet.  I chose 24 prints for £7, as I didn't quite want 48, (However in hindsight I may as well have gone with double the amount of prints for only £3 extra!) My prints then arrived very quickly, which I was not expecting, and I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the prints I received!

However, there is only one thing I would note... The photos I had chosen that had an Instgram filter over were considerably lower in quality. Not bad quality, just not as good. This is more than often noticeable on Instagram before even entering Polargram however - they can only print what they are given! So maybe something to bear in mind.

Will you be getting any prints done? Would you be interested in a post on how I'm going to put these up!?

Love, Rozzi xxx

You can follow my instagram here for a closer look at some of the pictures I printed!

My Mac Eyeshadow Palette | Quad

Top L-R: Cranberry | Amber Light
Bottom L-R: Naked Lunch | All That Glitters
Mac Eyeshadow Palette. Those words make my heart extremely excited, and my purse very anxious. At £6.50 for the palette, and £10 for each colour, this baby doesn't work out cheap, however I received some vouchers for Mac for my birthday, and so my long desired Mac Palette was born. I opted for two neutral colours, and then two a little bolder, so I think I have a nice mixture of everything!

Cranberry - Maybe more of a winter shade, but Cranberry is a really beautiful shade. A deep plummy/red, with a gorgeous shimmer running through it.

Amber Lights - A beautiful peachy/gold shade which I was assured would go nicely with my green eyes! Again, beautifully shimmery, and a perfect Amber shade.

Naked Lunch - A light, shimmery rose gold, perfect for an inner corner highlight or under the brow as a highlight as well.

All That Glitters - Quite possibly the most popular Mac eyeshadow, and the first on my list to get! All That Glitters is a beautiful nude shade, with an iridescent peachy/gold sheen to it.

All of the shades  are beautifully pigmented, and the longevity is great, but using a good primer underneath makes the colours pop even more, and reduces the already minimal fall down. Although it wasn't cheap, it is definitely an exciting investment, and I can't wait to build up my palette with more beautiful colours!

What do you think of Mac's eyeshadow palettes? Do you think they're worth the hype?

Rozzi xxxx

Next on my list: Shroom, Sumptuous Olive, Omega & Espresso.
